The name and shape of the silhouette “Future” has inspired us here to smartly refine a blend of the classic Space Jam soles, with our scarf patterns of which we strive to imprint distinctly. Trying to take you through the process of initial ideation from Kenzo’s vision of support and style. Once the initial drawings were formed, the creation of the individual leather waves (navy blue reflective leather) on the side of the heel was the start.
The additional cushioning to the heel can be seen with the light blue sides. Each individual remaining leather addition was hand-crafted and attached to the heel, visible in yellows and reds. The red leather acts like a shoe horn to smooth the on and off process while wearing. The hand-painted intricate transformation from the wolf original colour-way seen on the tongue to the yellows, greys, and blues that paint a picture of Chelsea’s pastels…
