In his own words...
“Hardinthepaint (HARD) is as London as it gets, pushing a unique style to unseen limits.Working from the heart of the capital, I’ve managed to see my work appreciated around the world, from parading the streets of LA to the fashion capital of Europe, Paris. The word HARD is not only my name, but it’s a rule. Hard work pays off is the mentality which has resulted in this being a fulltime operation for me. From sketches and designing a shoe, to the finished product. Building up a trusted clientele over the past couple of years, im best known for the quality, intricacy of my designs and the finish to the final product, nothing less then what you’d expect when you purchase from a shop floor or boutique. Each and every stroke I make, whether it is on paper or a shoe comes from this creative space in my mind I didn’t discover until the age of 22. Beforehand a young career in football meant I was never focused on subjects such as art and design, therefore not discovering this talent. By the ages of 18, illness and injury had me certain a football wasn’t possible and as I'd given this my all from a young age it was heartbreaking. Not knowing what path I was going to take I went to study business at college and got a part time job in retail, knowing for the two years I was doing both of these things that it wasn’t what I wanted in my life. One thing that never stopped throughout is my love and dedication to my sneaker collection. To this day I still have shoes unworn from 2008 that were gifts to me as a child. Having a lot of time on my hands once college had finished, struggling financial to get by as I wasn’t working, I see some guys over in the states customising and fixing their Jordan sneakers. Knowing I had pairs that could do with a fresh look I did some research.. some meaning MONTHS. Hours and hours of youtube videos trying to learn the craft of painting shoes. Basic things such as what products to use for what materials and where I get these products from.I placed an order of black, white and red paint. I was so excited and absolutely destroyed my shoe! But that was the birth of what today I call, HARDINTHEPAINT. This is my life, my passion & my hobby. My goal is to have all of those flamboyant enough to wear my work, happy and comfortable in something exclusive to them & only them… or die trying!
Thank you for you love & support…”
